Former stars of ‘Teen Wolf’ reflect on events in America

During a press conference bound by a reunion of the stars of the supernatural teenage drama “Teen Wolf” at the 64th Monte-Carlo Television Festival on Saturday, some of the former cast members took the time to think about what is wider in Los Angeles and America.

Charlie Carver, who played Ethan on the HIT MTV show, said: “I live quite close to the center [L.A.]Where most protests happen. I think the media unfortunately makes the scale of these events sensational. A frame can insulate everything you want. The demonstrations are for the most part incredibly peaceful, festive.

“And I think La – because of all the traumas it has been through, especially in the past six months – as if there is a real community feeling. I hope people wake up with the fact that this is not just about immigration.

“It is clear that I think it is inhumane how people are simply torn a kind of street, but it is also about the right process. I think it will be a big test. We will find out today with the No Kings Day marches all over the United States about the right process, constitutionalism, and I am proud that LA takes a position here.”

Holland Roden, who played Lydia in “Teen Wolf”, noted: “We had a tough six months in LA”, referring to the fires and now the ice cream [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] Raids and the protests but also further back to the strikes.

Roden was once held for 16 hours by immigration officials in Brazil for a visa -related problem, but she pushed back firmly on every suggestion that that experience gave her some insight into how those who were seized by ice agents felt.

“As far as my detention in Brazil is concerned, I would say that there is no comparison. I mean what these people are going through … I mean, mine was a visa error that was resolved, and it was quite crazy. There were two fans, I think, who saw the situation fall with this customs and it was blown out of proportion. And these habits was a real power trip.

“I had been to Brazil, I think, three times on the same visa. No problems. So it was just like a strange coincidence that he looked like:” There is something wrong with your visa, “and I was just taken away. Translator. They kept screaming against me in Portuguese.

“In the case of America, some of these mistakes are like destroying families. You hear stories about people deported who were citizens.

“There is no comparison between the two experiences, but the government can be really scary in all nations, and I don’t blame any Brazilian or American. Unfortunately, I travel in the world, I have noticed one thing of the government, and the people of this country are another, it’s just a shame like, I think it’s all your government.
