Nicole Kidman on her blonde wig in ‘Nine Perfect Strangers’ season 2
The wigs of Nicole Kidman have practically become their own characters in the dozens of projects that the Oscar winner made on television and film.
The newest is a sharp blonde bob that she wears as the mysterious wellness -guru Masha in the second season of Hulu’s “Nine Perfect Strangers”.
“Everything is very specific,” Kidman told me during the season 2 premiere event in Beverly Hills. “It was chosen for a reason because she has very strong intentions and agendas.”
Kidman said it was the only wig she looked at after it was picked by her old hair and make -up artist Noriko Watanabe. “It’s very fast,” Kidman explained. “We just thought of the character and the atmosphere, how she should be and what she should look for.”
Kidman also explained why she wanted to repeat Masha for a second season.
