Assessment Institute Fields the manager accused of sexual misconduct

Konikoff had previously said on LinkedIn that Steinley would stop the appearance of public performances on behalf of AI. As President of the Trade Group, he served as a vice president prior to his term of office.
“I know this has been a painful period for our members and our wider community,” was Konikoff’s statement. “This was a matter of the well -being and trust of the assessment institute as an organization that is greater than a person.”
Steinley was taken under fire after an exhibition of the New York Times accused him of sexual harassment against him from several women who had worked at the Assessment Institute, including former President Cindy Chance, who also revealed the accusations in an unlawful termination case against the group.
The women accused Steinley of grabbing their buttocks and holding hugs for surplus periods. Chance says he often called her his’ girlfriend ‘, and the now formator director deserved the nickname’ Mr. Handsy ‘.
Steinley has denied all allegations.
The name Van Steinley also appears in an unlawful termination case that was filed by Alissa Akins, a former director of AI. She claims that she was fired because she has blown the whistle on an incorrect assessment test of the assessment assessment that gave many students who did not succeed in achieving numbers, and vice versa.
After she had continued to press the problem, Akins says that another director said that Steinley will “make it for you as long as you stay.”
The Assessment Institute itself is increasingly being under fire from its own members, many of whom believe that it has stopped serving the best interest of the profession. That conviction largely stemes from what appraisers consider as a pleasant relationship that has it with assessment management companies.
A group of assessors who are critical of AI has set up an alternative trade group called the Assessment regulation Compliance Council.
“Now the time for the assessment institute is to act … to ensure that our policy, protocols and actions reflect the best practices and demonstrate our non -repellent dedication to promote a safe and respectful environment for all members and staff,” Konikoff said in her statement.
