Jon Stewart hits Donald Trump to accept Jet from Qatar Royals

In this week’s episode of ‘The Daily Show’, Jon Stewart Donald Trump criticized for accepting a gift from the royal family of Qatar in the form of a luxury Jumbo -Jet with a value of hundreds of millions of dollars.

Stewart opened the segment by playing a series of news clips about the exchange between Trump and the Qatari Royals. The clips explained that the jet, who has an estimated value of “$ 400 million”, would be used by the president during his term “and then shortly before he leaves the office, would be transferred to the Trump Presidential Library Foundation.”

“What? Qatar gives us a plane that Trump can keep? He is like the opposite Oprah,” Stewart joked. “I get a jet! And that’s it. I get a jet. For my library! ‘ Why does his library need a jet?

Another news clip then played and sketched the specifications of the Jet, including “the largest main bedroom in the air, as well as some very plush living rooms and various private offices.”

“But hey, it’s a Jet from Qatar,” said Stewart. “We can trust them. They are not suspected of Canada.”

Stewart then played a media soundbite and explained that “Qatar is considered an American ally, but it is also an ally of Iran, and China, and even Hamas.”

The expert in the late night then drew a video from Trump who defended his decision to accept the jet. In the clip the president said: “They give us a free jet. I could say no, no, no, don’t give [it to] us. I want to pay you $ 1 billion or $ 400 million or whatever it is. Or I could tell you very much. “

“It’s not a free jet,” said Stewart. “That’s the point. Do you know the expression ‘There is no such thing as a free lunch? ‘That is about being skeptical about the motives of someone who gives you a sandwich.
