The Masked Singer Season 13 Episode 12 Summary: Lucky Duck Reveal

Spoiler Alert: Details follow for season 13, episode 12 of ‘The Masked Singer’, ‘Semi-Finals Night’, which was broadcast on Fox on 30 April.

The case of Detective Lucky Duck was finally posted in Wednesday’s episode of Fox’s ‘The Masked Singer’. Taika Waititi was the newest celebrity that was revealed in season 13 of Fox’s ‘The Masked Singer’, the mysterious character and the entire season appeared in the show to share instructions about the costumed participants of the competition.

Lucky Duck appeared at the end of this week’s episode of this week, and instead of having the panel members guessed his identity, he unmasked himself. And it was a familiar face for one of the panel members of the show: Waititi is the husband of the Rita Ora of the show.

“Semi-Finals Night” brought together the last five participants: Group A’s Coral, Group B’s Pearl and Boogie Woogie and Mad Scientist Monster from Group C. The episode was opened with the group that sings ‘Handclap’, by Fitz and the drift showers.

The four semi-finalists were split into two faceoffs this week, where the winners of those faceoffs automatically went to the final.

Boogie Woogie and Pearl first faced, with Pearl who won that round and went on to the final. Then Mad Scientist Monster went to Coral, and Mad Scientist Monster won it and continued. Boogie Woogie and Coral let it be to perform it in a Smackdown for the third final slot. Coral first sang “suddenly”, by KT Tunstall, followed by Boogie Woogie sings “Are you gonna be my girl” by Jet.

But before that last mood, Lucky Duck brought the “Ding Dong Keep it on” Bell forward and announced that all four will continue to the final of next week. That is when he unmasked, instead of one of the participants.

Also new: the “crack the case” instruction, in which more instructions are shared about the eliminated participant. In the meantime, the Golden Ear -Trophy is back in the game for the panel members (those who have the most correct guesses this season will win).

“The Masked Singer” Season 13 theme -Fillings include a tribute to franchises “Shrek” and “Ghostbusters”, as well as the Grand Ole Opry while it touches its 100 -year anniversary. Tap is also a tribute to the rat package and themes such as “Voices of Olympus: Omasking of the Gods”, “Carnival”, “Boy bands”, “Decades”, “Lucky 6”, a “Clash of the Masks” and the return of “Soundtrack of My Life.”

Masked participants in season 13 are Honey Pot, Space Ranger, Cherry Blossom, Coral, Fuzzy Peas, Ant, Paparazzo, Griffin, Boogie Woogie, Pearl, Bat, Yorkie, Stud Muffin, Nessy and Mad Scientist Monster.
