Nikki Glaser Cut Caitlyn Jenner Joke from Comedy Central Roast

Nikki Glaser is not a person to pull bumps, and yet the comedian and Golden Globes -Gastheer revealed that she once cut a joke from a comedy power station after Caitlyn Jenner threatened to withdraw from the event.
Speaking at the Time 100 top in New York, Glaser said that she was working on her material around Los Angeles before the broadcast – probably the roast of Alec Baldwin – and Jenner had raised the wind of a joke she had prepared about Jenner’s involvement in a deadly car wreck. (Glaser did not repeat the joke at the top, but in a performance of 2019 at ‘The Howard Stern Show’ she unveiled the jokes she cut from the roast: ‘Caitlyn Jenner, what a beautiful woman … You killed your car four years ago. [You are] A woman who cannot start but still manages to hold blood. ))
Glaser said she was ‘nervous’ about performing material about the car accident and asked Comedy Central if she could give Jenner a warning. Glaser said the network did not tell her that, for fear that Jenner would come back. Yet Jenner heard about the joke for roast. ‘[Jenner] said if there is such a joke, I don’t want to be part of it, “said Glaser.” As soon as I heard that, I go, “Ok, I’ll take it out.” I just had to hear it from her. ‘
Glaser said that she will “like to” cut jokes that make topics too uncomfortable, which comes from advice she once received from former Oscar -guests Jimmy Kimmel, who told Glaser: “If you are worried about a joke and how it goes, ask them.”
That is not the only time that Glaser puts those words into practice. Prior to her Golden Globes monologue in January, she texted Benny Blanco about a joke: ‘Selena Gomez is here for’ Emilia Pérez ‘and’ Only Murders’. And she is here tonight with her new fiancé, Benny Blanco.
“I got his number and said,” Hey, you don’t know me, but I organize this thing and I hear you’re going to be there. May I say you are there because a genius has given you a wish? “” Pour Glaser on the Time 100 top. According to Glaser texts blank back: “That is hilarious! Let me run through Selena.” And later: “Selena thinks it’s great.”
Glaser will organize the Golden Globes of next year on January 11, 2026.
