Benson Boone brings cardboard cut -out from Brian May to Troll Coachella

Benson Boone “Boheemian Rhapsody” still rocked despite Brian May Lifeless appearing on stage … which is logical, because the actual guitarist was replaced by a cardboard recess.

The Singer-Songwriter went to the Coachella stage for weekend 2 of the largest music festival of the year on Friday evening, and he played the Hit Queen number for the raw audience again.

While Boone sang: “I sometimes wish I was never born at all,” he released the recovering of May … while a real guitarist played the famous solo – although Boone pretended it was really shredded.

He later grabbed the recess and used it like a plug on stage – playing around it and sliding past backup singers. He even tried to put it down … but the wind kept overthrowing.

Boone later clarified that Brian really wanted Play with him again … but he couldn’t stay for weekend 2, so Boone and his team came up with the playful idea as a tribute.

As you know … Brian came to Benson last week on stage for the performance that a somewhat lukewarm response from the audience – although many praised BB for apparently channel recently Freddie Mercury.

We talked to Benson earlier this week and he teased a “big weekend” at Coachella after we asked what he had planned.
