Wrestling legend Kevin von Erich is open about a great tragedy reminder to the complicated call he received from his brother Ker Shortly before he took his own life.
In a teaser for the new doc “The Real Iron Claw” – Kevin remembers the devastating phone call from 1993 when he begged not to shoot himself and begged him not to leave him completely alone after the death of their other brothers.
It is heartbreaking things-kevin said that Kerry eventually reassured him that it would be okay during the call, but deep down he knew something was wrong, so he called their father, Fritz von ErichTo warn him.
Kevin tried to tell his father that Kerry was in a dark place, but Fritz put it away and told him he was busy and couldn’t talk. He chalk his father’s reaction to his old age and has the habit of giving himself a drink around 5 pm … and he had just called something after that.
Kevin took matters into his own hands, jumped in the car and drove three and a half hours to come to Kerry – but by the time he arrived, it was already too late.
