Sarah Sherman sent Aimee Lou Wood Flowers after ‘SNL’ parody

Sarah Sherman made more than good for her unflattering representation of Aimee Lou Wood in the parody of “Saturday Night Live” of “The White Lotus”.
On Tuesday, Wood went to her Instagram stories to share that Sherman had sent her a bouquet of flowers after the “White Lotus” star had publicly offense with her “SNL” switch.
‘Thanks for the beautiful flowers [Sarah Sherman]”Wood wrote, sharing a photo of a pink and orange flower arrangement.
On Sunday, the night after “SNL” broadcast his parody of the Mike White drama, Wood posted on social media that she was unhappy with the way in which the Late-Night Sketch Show led her out with an unflat spoof of her “White Lotus” character, Chelsea, played by Sherman.
“Such a shame because I had such a great time to watch it a few weeks ago,” she wrote. “Yes, definitely take the piss- the show is going there, but there must be a smarter, more nuanced, less cheap way?”
The sketch, entitled ‘The White Potus’, was primarily aimed at Donald Trump and his allies as rates the world economy. It played James Austin Johnson as president, Chloe Fineman as Melania Trump, Mikey Day as Donald Trump Jr. And Jon Hamm as Robert F. Kennedy Jr .. Wood’s Chelsea was the only ‘white lotus’ character that appeared in the well-packed segment.
In one comic turn, Hamm’s RFK, dressed as Rick van Walton Goggin, fainted: “I have had these insane ideas, such as what if we all remove the fluoride from the drinking water? What would that do with the teeth of people?” The camera then shows Shelman’s Chelsea, with an exaggerated accent and enlarged false teeth. She answers, “Fluoride? What is that?”
