Patrick Schwarzenegger Models Banana Republic’s White Lotus Collection

The nude scene of Patrick Schwarzenegger was one of the Boeziest moments in the third season of “The White Lotus”, but the actor is now dressed in the spotlight. Schwarzenegger is the face of the new Banana Republic campaign for his “White Lotus” collection, which will be officially available for shopping on March 6.

The Limited-Edition Clothing Capsule is one of the dozens of collections and merch drops inspired by the HIT HBO show, including an H&M Resort collection designed by the costume designer Alex Bovaird of the show. The 24-piece line-up includes “ultra-packable” clothing, rich in shades inspired by Thailand such as turquoise, navy, red and yellow, in addition to graphic prints and liquid silhouettes.

“It is much more resort for spring and summer, so it’s perfect for now,” says Schwarzenegger, who says Variety He wore a modified banana republic suit from the 90s for the LA premiere of the show.

Below the actor tells about packing only a hand luggage for his seven-month “White Lotus” shoot in Thailand, his favorite hand-me-down from his father Arnold Schwarzenegger and why he is not so comfortable modeling.

Do you have favorite pieces in the collection?

It is much more resort for spring and summer, so it’s perfect for now. But also at the premiere in Los Angeles, they made me this kind of adapted suit from their archive collections from the early 90s. It was cool to be able to wear that. But they had a bunch of great pieces at the shoot. There were kaki shorts and an oversized black belt and a yellowish colored shirt that I really liked.

If you go on vacation, take too much or do you just take a few photos, a T-shirt and you call it a day?

I under pack. Everyone on the set of “The White Lotus” ridiculed me because I probably had four outfits for the entire seven months. I only had a few outfits going on because I have something like that: “It’s sunny and it’s hot”, and then you are on set every day, you will just wear the character’s clothing. Although I didn’t want to wear the characters outside my work – they were not for me.

When it comes to vacation, are you more a beach person or mountain person or desert?

I enjoy a mountain and beaches, but I am an activity person. When my fiancé [model Abby Champion] And I go on vacation, we like to go sightseeing, go on bike rides or walking and exploring. I can’t just sit on a beach.

When was the last time you went on a big vacation?

On ‘The White Lotus’ we were in fact on a holiday of seven months. It was hard work, playing hard. We have just made a cool small shoot for the four seasons and with “White Lotus” in Maui for a few days where they shots. We have to stay there for two or three days, which was great.

How would you describe your style?

It ever changes, which is cool because you can always mix and match it and it can change. On the red carpet I really tried to go the man with suits and things that are a bit different and unique, but still stylish and Americana. Just like Banana Republic’s suit, I wore at the premiere. It was a stylish suit with double rows, but it had a bit of fashion spark through the early 90s and a little oversized.

I would say that you might be able to wear part of your father’s things from the 90s, but it is slightly bigger than you.

He has passed on cool collared shirts that I still have. One of my favorites is a vintage planet Hollywood button down with all these different colors and cool images on it. It is super ’90. I think it’s great.

Are you comfortable modeling?

During the shoot of Banana Republic, the photographer came to me and said, “You feel uncomfortable with the photo shoots, right?” I know that most actors I have worked with feel that way. We feel more comfortable to play a character than when we are ourselves. But Banana Republic was fun. They made it very easy. We had a great time

What could be more uncomfortable – modeling or stripping to nothing on “The White Lotus?”

They go a little hand in hand.
