Scott Foley to shine in Amazon’s ‘It is not so’ as minister

Scott Foley will play the leading role in Amazon Prime videos “It’s not not that” as a modern minister called Malcolm.

Prime Video gave a Cast Contingent series Order to the Show in November, from Faith-based content Studio Wonder Project. This casting removes the contingency.

The logline for “it’s not that” goes as follows: “Lori is freshly separated with two teenagers. Malcolm is a minister and recently widow father of three. Their families have ever done everything together, but now Lori and Malcolm have to navigate through them Newly beaten, parenting and the complexity of Malcolm as a modern minister.

Ian Deenchman and Kristin Robinson have made the series and will serve as show runners. In addition to Foley, Jon Erwin, Justin Rosenblatt and Kelly Merryman Hoogstraten for Wonder Project, they produce in addition to Foley, Jon Erwin; Alex Goldstone for 42 & anonymous content; and Kingdom Story Company. The series is produced by Wonder Project and Amazon MGM Studios. Justin Rosenblatt, Wonder Project’s head of global television, will supervise the project.

Foley played most recently in Netflix’s “La Dolce Villa” and can also be seen as Dr. Seth McDale on ABC’s “Will Trent”. He is also ready to return to the “Scream” franchise in the next seventh episode. Foley is represented by Independent Artist Group, Atlas Artists and Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern.

DEITCHMAN and ROBINSON are currently co-executive producers for ‘Off Campus’, who was ordered in the Amazon Prime video in October. Their other credits are the Amazon shows “As we see it”, “Carnival Row” and “Z: The beginning of everything”, as well as series “Ordinary Joe” and “Rise” at NBC, “Almost Family” at Fox and ” The Bold Type “at Freeform. They also wrote for the hit NBC series “Parenthood” and wrote the “Life as we know it” function.
