4 billion minutes for two weeks in a row

“Squid Game” reached 4.6 billion minutes viewed on Netflix in season 2’s first full week of availability, by Nielsen.

Although that is a small decrease in the 4.9 billion minutes that the series reached the week before, including the debut weekend of season 2, this is a huge achievement for the South Korean drama. It is rare that every series crosses 4 billion minutes that has been viewed on the weekly streaming rankings of Nielsen, and “Squid Game” is the first to do this, because “Wednesday” premiered in 2022. One statistics, which means that the 4.6 billion minutes of viewers include both seasons of “Squid Game” between December 30 and January 5, but Nielsen notes 2 also contributed to 80% of that total on that season.
