12Go Launches ChatGPT App, Opening Asia’s Largest Ground and Maritime Transport Network to AI Travelers | News

12Go, Asia’s leading ground and maritime transport brand and part of the Travelier group, today launches a ChatGPT app, bringing Asia’s wide choice of buses, ferries, trains and multimodal routes directly to ChatGPT. For the first time, travelers around the world can use natural language to search and compare transportation across Asia’s most fragmented transportation ecosystems – and book within seconds of being redirected to 12Go’s website and app.

Land and maritime transport in Asia is dominated by thousands of small operators running largely offline businesses. Until now, most of these transportation options have been impossible to search and compare via an AI assistant. AI-smart users can now call 12Go directly from the ChatGPT interface with prompts like “find me a night bus from Bangkok to Chiang Mai this weekend” and get the widest choice and best deals in real time.

“AI has become the new front door for travel inspiration, but inspiration only matters if it leads to a real, bookable trip,” said Noam Toister, co-founder and CEO of Travelier. “Now a traveler in New York or London using the 12Go app in ChatGPT who asks how to travel through southern Thailand or how to cross from Vietnam to Laos will get an answer in seconds – made possible through direct relationships with thousands of local operators. It’s a step toward making Asia’s hardest-to-reach transportation options part of the global conversation about travel.”
