Zig saw ‘playing for our future’, Tottenham Hotspur Docuseries

Zig Zag has announced two new long-shaped committees as part of his reverse slate: the TNT-Sportdocumentary “Playing for Our Future” and the return of “The Football Academy”, this time in the Tottenham Hotspur Youth System, for the BBC.

“These two committees perfectly embody the daring stories to tell and creative vision in the heart of Zig saw from tackling worldwide challenges for celebrating human ambition and talent, this is just the start of our new era,” Zig said CEO Danny Fenton of the news of the day.

In collaboration with Discovery+ and TNT Sports, “Playing for Our Future” is investigating the impact of climate change on sport. Financed by energy supplier Utilita and produced with Infinitum Entertainment and AMS Media Group, contains the documentary extra content on digital and social platforms, with regard to football, rugby, cricket, bicycles and motorsport.

Directed by Dan Riley and Executive produced by Danny Fenton and Matt Graff, the documentary will premiere on April 1, 2025 at 10.30 pm on TNT Sports 1 and Stream on Discovery+. The film is organized by Reshmin Chowdhury and investigates how extreme again influences both grassroots and elite sports, with insights from athletes and climate experts.

Zig Zag’s “The Football Academy” returns in the fall 2025 for his third season at CBBC and BBC IPLAYER, now trained at Tottenham Hotspur Academy. The series will continue to look behind the scenes to young players aged 9 to 17, including boys, girls and para teams. With world-class facilities, the season is meant to give an in-depth picture of prospective trips from football players.
