Zachary Ty Bryan on a journey of ‘personal growth’ after latest arrest

Bryan’s ex told police that the actor physically and verbally abused her in July, but so far no criminal charges have been filed.

The ex was given a five-year restraining order on Wednesday after the two had an argument in July. According to court documents, the woman, who said she and Bryan had been together for three months, playfully bit his nipple while they lay together.

Bryan reportedly responded by hitting her in the head.

After the restraining order was granted, a remorseful Bryan said TMZ he takes full responsibility for the loss of his cool, and ‘deeply’ regrets any pain or damage he has caused.

The 44-year-old said: “Domestic violence in any form is unacceptable.”

“The truth is that I have struggled with the lasting effects of early fame, addiction and poor decision-making, which have hurt people I care about and led to repeated legal troubles, including drunk driving and previous domestic incidents,” Bryan said. “This latest situation, which involved a restraining order and serious allegations, was a painful wake-up call.”
