‘Yellowstone’ Star Hassie Harrison Joins ‘Baywatch’ Reboot Cast

Hassie Harrison (“Yellowstone”) has been added to the cast of Fox’s upcoming “Baywatch” reboot. The actor joins a growing cast that includes Stephen Amell, Jessica Belkin, David Chokachi and the just-announced Thaddeus LaGrone.
In the new “Baywatch,” Harrison will play Nat, who, according to the character description, is “a former foster kid turned Olympic athlete. Nat is the gold standard when it comes to lifeguards. Brilliant, driven and fiercely loyal, she is Hobie’s right-hand man and best friend. Nat holds everyone to the same high standards she has for herself, which sometimes gets in the way of her relationships on and off the beach.”
Harrison’s credits include the thriller ‘Dangerous Animals’, as well as upcoming films such as the modern Western thriller ‘The Rescue’, the neo-noir ‘Deep Eddy’ and the thriller ‘Raven’. In ‘Yellowstone’ she played the role of barrel racer Laramie for three seasons. She also appeared in HBO’s “It’s Florida, Man” and Shane Gillis’ Netflix series “Tires.”
In the new “Baywatch,” premiering on Fox during the 2026-2027 TV season, Amell plays Hobie Buchannon, the son of original “Baywatch” lead character Mitch Buchannon, while Belkin is Charlie Vale, Chokachi reprises his original series role Cody Madison and LaBrone plays Brad. Fox and producer Fremantle also recently held a daylong casting call to find additional players for the new show.
Here’s part of the logline for the revival: “The wild child Hobie Buchannon we all loved from the original series is now a Baywatch captain, following in the footsteps of his legendary father, Mitch. Hobie’s world is turned upside down when Charlie, the daughter he never knew, shows up on his doorstep, eager to continue the Buchannon family legacy and become a Baywatch lifeguard alongside her father. OG heartthrob Cody Madison runs now The Shoreline, the unofficially official Baywatch bar-and-grill, and still dons the red trunks for the occasional life-saving shift. He is a mentor and a friend, providing a second home to his fellow lifeguards… and always offering free wings after a big rescue.
“Baywatch” was picked up by Fox in September 2025 for the 2026-2027 broadcast season with a 12-episode order. Matt Nix is the showrunner and executive producer of the reboot, along with McG, Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, Doug Schwartz, Dante Di Loreto and Mike Horowitz. McG will also direct the series premiere episode.
The series is co-produced by Fox Entertainment and Fremantle. Fox Entertainment Global owns domestic distribution rights and Fremantle controls international sales.
Harrison is repped by Gersh, Range Media Partners and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole.
