‘Yellowstone’ Beth and Rip Spinoff Adds Four to Cast (EXCLUSIVE)

The upcoming “Yellowstone” spinoff centered on Beth and Rip has added four new series regulars, Variety only learned.

Natalie Alyn Lind, Marc Menchaca, Juan Pablo Raba and JR Villarreal have all joined the series, which is currently titled “The Dutton Ranch.” As previously reported, Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser will reprise their roles as Beth and Rip, while Finn Little will also return to the role of Carter. Jai Courtney also stars with both Ed Harris and Annette Bening.

The official logline for the series reads: “Beth Dutton (Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Hauser) are grateful for the peace they sought, fought for, and nearly died with their 7,000-acre Dutton Ranch. Facing hard times and fierce competition, Beth and Rip do what they have to do to survive, while also making sure Carter (Little) becomes the man he’s meant to be are.”

Menchaca will play Zachariah, who is described as “a newly released prison bird trying to rebuild his life as a wrangler and cowboy.” Lind will play Oreana, said to be “a striking young woman with a wild and free spirit.” Villarreal will play Azul, “a whipcord fighter and Rip’s right-hand man.” And finally, Raba will play Joaquin, “a worker on a big ranch who solves problems, big or small.”

Menchaca is known for his roles in shows like “Ozark,” “The Outsider,” “The Sinner” and most recently “Dexter: Resurrection.” His upcoming credits include the Apple TV series “Neuromancer” and “The Abandons” on Netflix. In films, he has appeared in films such as ‘Unabomb’, ‘Dead of Winter’ and ‘The Alamo’.

Lind previously starred in shows such as ‘The Goldbergs’, ‘The Gifted’, ‘Sugar’, ‘Tell Me A Story’ and ‘Blue Sky’. She also starred in films such as ‘Pet Semetary: Bloodlines’ and ‘Marked Men’.

Raba is known for his leading roles in ‘Narcos’ and the military drama ‘Six’. He recently starred in the Netflix series ‘Delirium’ and ‘News of a Kidnapping’. He starred opposite Antonio Banderas in the biographical drama ‘The 33’, based on the 2010 Copiapó mining disaster.

Villarreal previously returned in Season 1 of Landman, another Taylor Sheridan-Paramount series. His other TV credits include ‘Freeridge’ at Netflix and ‘United We Fall’ at ABC. He appeared in films such as ‘Akeelah and the Bee’ and ‘Bobby Z.’

Lind is represented by CAA, Authentic and Brecheen Feldman. Menchaca is represented by IAG and TMT Entertainment Group. Raba is represented by Innovative Artists Entertainment. Villarreal is represented by Momentum Talent and Literary Agency and Nelson Management.

Chad Feehan will serve as showrunner and executive producer of “The Dutton Ranch.” “Yellowstone” mastermind Sheridan produces with David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Michael Friedman, Christina Voros, Reilly, Hauser and Keith Cox. Voros will also direct. The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios.
