Wizz Air launches innovative “Wizz Class” for those who value privacy but don’t like to pay too much | News

Wizz Air is raising the bar for budget travel with the introduction of WIZZ Class, a new optional service designed for budget-conscious travelers who value extra personal space and streamlined convenience. This service is available for purchase on selected* flights to and from Budapest, Bucharest Otopeni, Warsaw, London Luton, London Gatwick and Rome Fiumicino.

When a passenger chooses WIZZ Class, one of the middle seats closest to them (1B and 1E) will be reserved on their flights. Because the front row also offers extra legroom, the service provides more space and comfort to relax or work while flying in the efficient single-class cabin. The product will be available as an add-on within the booking process for Smart and Plus bundle purchases, on the seat selection page. These bundles include priority boarding with a 10kg carry-on bag. With additional WIZZ Class service, passengers also receive a reserved middle seat and a complimentary non-alcoholic drink and snack.

“Business travel is growing within our network and we have listened to what our passengers want.” says Silvia Mosquera, commercial employee at Wizz Air. “They’re asking for a little more space and speed, but they don’t want to pay traditional airline prices for business class. WIZZ Class meets this demand by giving passengers the space they crave and the service they deserve, without compromising our simple, convenient model. We also want to remain a single-class airline with our efficiency goals.”

Unlike traditional business class offerings, the WIZZ class does not require an expensive cabin overhaul. The solution is simple: by reserving just two middle seats, giving customers the space to stretch out and work, but still within the same highly efficient cabin layout that Wizz Air is known for.
