Willie Robertsonhas been working knee-deep in filming “Duck Dynasty: The Revival” S2 – and this time he’s getting to work without his late father… which TMZ says actually feels fitting, knowing the man himself.
We ran into Willie in New York on Monday, and he told us point blank — Phil I probably wouldn’t have enjoyed being part of the show anyway… the guy was never really interested in the cameras.
Watch the full clip… Willie admits it was difficult not having Phil there, but says the family is taking comfort in knowing he has moved into his ‘forever home’.
He also gave us an update on Phil’s brother, Si Robertson – and it looks like the clan is holding strong behind Phil passing at 79 in May… just months after the family revealed his The fight against Alzheimer’s disease.
Phil was a regular on ‘Duck Dynasty’ from 2012 to 2017… although fans remember him briefly 2013 suspended due to some controversial comments. Long before reality TV came to prominence, Phil laid the groundwork as the original founder of Duck Commander.
