William and Kate Reunited at ‘Freakin’ Naughty’ Bash After Divorce

Prince William won Kate Middleton back after a split in 2007 when both attended a wild bash where she dressed up as a ‘naughty nurse’. RadarOnline.com can reveal.

The two eventually had a deep conversation after breaking away from other partygoers and decided to give their romance another try, which led to a rock-solid relationship that culminated in the college sweethearts eventually getting married in a royal wedding in 2011.

William and Middleton split in March 2007 after dating for six years, starting when they were students at St Andrews University in Scotland.

Although the Princess of Wales “didn’t demand an engagement,” “she did want a union, and if he couldn’t deliver it, well, she left him in no doubt that it was best that they go their separate ways,” writes royal expert Russell Myers in his new biography: William & Catherine: Their Intimate Inside Story.

The ultimatum did not go Middleton’s way. As William explained in a heartbreaking 30-minute phone call, he “explained his reasons for believing they were on different pages” and couldn’t give her the answer she was hoping for, leaving the English beauty “understandably devastated”.

William even went so far as to have Clarence House release a statement saying he and Middleton were no longer together. He even confided to a high courtier that “at least she’s free,” according to Myers.

However, Middleton wasn’t sitting at home wallowing in her tears.

Instead, she ended up in the London nightlife as a single woman partying with her friends. She was even photographed wearing sultry hot pants at a roller disco.

“If her intention was to make William jealous, it had the desired effect,” Myers notes.

When Middleton was on holiday in Ibiza with her family in June 2007, William texted her to see if she would agree to talk to him.

Before parting ways, the duo had a party on their calendar at a mutual friend’s house, where the theme of the evening was the risqué “Freakin’ Naughty.”

William and Middleton agreed to meet at the bash, which would be the first time they had seen each other in months. He dressed to impress in “tight black hot pants and a plastic police officer helmet,” according to Myers, while she donned “a show-stopping ‘naughty nurse’ outfit, complete with fishnet stockings and a short dress.”

Fellow partygoers said that as soon as the couple set their eyes on the party, “it was clear that their love had not been extinguished.”

William and Middleton broke away from the other guests and “spent hours in deep conversation.”

Myers writes how “Catherine listened intently as William tried to break the impasse, laying out his reasons for doubting what they had. He talked about his fear of letting anyone truly experience the world he lived in, and also his fear of rejection if he let himself get too close.”

He continues, “Catherine knew, of course, that she still loved William deeply. That’s why she was so explicit in her demands. She was willing to agree to a future, if only he would stop allowing outside factors to influence his judgment.”

They returned to the party as a couple again, this time promising that their future together was solid.

The friend who organized the Freakin’ Naughty party told how it brought William and Middleton back together a month after their royal wedding in April 2011, without taking credit for it.

Sam Waley-Cohen said: ‘There’s this idea that I was like Cupid with a bow and arrow. People like the idea that someone put them back together, but they put themselves together a lot more.”
