Whoopi Goldberg Destroys Bosses’ Comment on ‘The View’ About Trump Autopen

Whoopi Goldberg has let her outright hatred of Donald Trump get the better of her The viewwho broke down when she received a legal brief that she was forced to read live on air, RadarOnline.com can do that reveal.
The show’s moderator, 69, threw a fit when she was handed a piece of paper from panelist Sunny Hostin asking her to clarify a comment she made about the president’s use of an autopen as a pardon. The comment stirred the producers enough to prompt the comedian to issue a correction to viewers.
The unrest arose during the Hot Topics segment on Monday, November 3, where the ladies discussed Trump’s performance 60 minutes the night before.
In it, the president claimed, “I don’t know who he is,” when Norah O’Donnell asked him why he pardoned billionaire crypto exchange founder Changpeng Zhao.
“He said Joe Biden didn’t know who he was pardoning because he used an autopen. How come you don’t know who this guy is?” Hostin, 57, sighed.
Goldberg fired back at Trump: “Because he used an autopen!”
The women moved on to other elements of the interview, including ICE raids, when Hostin passed the legal note to Goldberg minutes later. She looked down and muttered, “What the hell? What?’ as she started reading the contents out loud.
“It was a joke!” the Sister Act star shouted, as Hostin explained to viewers, “We don’t know if Trump used an autopen,” snapping, “But we do know he didn’t know who that crypto guy was.”
“Oh, come on!” Goldberg continued to complain about the message, which came from the show’s producers.
“I’m sorry. The hardest part about this job is that no one understands the nuance. You know when you hear a joke, when someone is messing around, when they’re not saying anything specific, especially on this show. I’m very specific when I point out things. When I’m joking, you know when I’m joking. This is ridiculous,” the EGOT winner said as she tore the note into pieces to applause from the audience.
So far, the White House has not responded to Goldberg’s legal tirade. Still, Trump’s communications team reacted angrily when Joy Behar ranted about the president in July.
The statement even suggested that the show’s far-left tilt could make it the next casualty of the liberal talk show, following Stephen Colbert’s criticism. The late show received its cancellation notice amid skyrocketing costs and deteriorating ratings.
“Joy Behar is an irrelevant loser suffering from a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. It’s no surprise that The viewThe ratings reached an all-time low last year,” said White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers.
Rogers added, “She needs to self-reflect on her own jealousy of President Trump’s historic popularity before her show is the next to be taken off the air.”
ABC launched an investigation into liberal bias after it was revealed that almost all liberals did so The view‘s guests in the first half of 2025 were extremely left-oriented.
In an effort to appear more balanced, the show’s panelists found common ground with a previously proud MAGA supporter, Marjorie Taylor Greene.
The Georgia congresswoman will appear on the ABC daytime show on Tuesday, November 4, in a rare guest booking with a Republican, after going against her party during the government shutdown.
Greene, 51, called for an end to it and cooperation with Democrats.
When shown the clip of the politician talking about it during a previous Hot Topics discussion, Goldberg praised her as “the surprising voice of reason.”
Behar joked, “You know what? I take it, I feel like I want to get laser treatments together with her. That’s how close I feel to Marjorie now.’
