Donald Trump picked Senator from Florida Marco Rubio for the position of US Secretary of State. If approved, he would become the first Latino in the nation’s history to serve as the president’s top adviser on foreign affairs.

Trump wrote in his announcement: “Pam served as a prosecutor for nearly two decades, where she was tough on violent criminals and made the streets safe for Florida families.”

During a speech at Mar-a-Lago, Trump announced he would ask the governor of North Dakota Doug Burgum to oversee the Ministry of the Interior as Secretary.

Trump said, “He’s going to be great.”

Brooke Rollins has been picked to lead the Department of Agriculture after serving Trump’s first administration as acting director of the Domestic Policy Council and director of the Office of American Innovation.

But on Nov. 27, she and two other North Texans received threats and “co-attacks.”

On X, Rollins said she and other nominees and appointees were in the Cabinet were targeted after Trump’s announcement.

She tweeted: “Thanks to the quick efforts of the [Fort Worth Police Department]we were unharmed and quickly returned home. “I would like to express my deep gratitude to the law enforcement professionals who did their utmost, both in speed and expertise, to protect us – as they protect our community every day.”

Trump expressed his intention to nominate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services.

Trump said in a message on X: “The safety and health of all Americans is the most important role of any government, and HHS will play a major role in ensuring that everyone protected against harmful chemicalspollutants, pesticides, pharmaceuticals and food additives that have contributed to the overwhelming health crisis in this country.”

He added: “Mr Kennedy will restore these agencies to the traditions of Gold Standard Scientific Research and beacons of transparency, to end the chronic disease epidemic and make America great and healthy again!

Scott Turner belongs to Trump choice to lead the Housing and Urban Development Department, making him the first Black person selected to serve the Republican Cabinet.

Trump appointed an oil and gas industry director Chris Wright lead the Ministry of Energy.

He said: “As Secretary of Energy, Chris will be a key leader driving innovation, cutting red tape and ushering in a new ‘Golden Age of American prosperity and global peace’.”

Trump said yes Kristi Noem when he asked her to lead the Department of Homeland Security: “She will be a big part of our mission to make America safe again.”
