What happened to late influencers Stacey Tourout and Matthew Yeomans?

The online community has continued to mourn Stacey Tourout And Matthew Yeomans After their death in August.
Kaslo Search and Rescue (SAR) confirmed the death of the couple, which led the YouTube channel Toyota World Runners and claimed that rescuers were called on stage of an off-road motor vehicle accident on 7 August around 7:30 local time.
“So it was on a forest road, somewhere in the mountains, and fairly long ways to the north in the valley to … the village of Trout Lake,” Mark Jennings-BatesA manager of the Kaslo Sar, told the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) and noted that rescuers had an accurate location for the incident.
He continued: “Our teams could reach them efficiently. It is a long journey, but they have come there efficiently. So that was very, very useful. And that of course means that the helicopter pilot could also fly directly to the destination with confidence that he would find them.”

Tourout and Yeomans were found in British Columbia after about 200 meters, which is around 656 feet, according to Jennings-Bates. He claimed that the couple rolled “many, many times” during the incident. One of the victims would reportedly had no vital signs in the vehicle while the other was taken to a hospital and later died.
Jennings-Bates claimed that the salvation to find Tourout and Yeomans was “challenging” because of the uphill site, but noticed that his team could do it “efficiently”. The team also reportedly responded to various calls around the location where the incident took place.

The family of the couple announced their death on 11 August next to an image of Tourout and Yeoman who smiles while standing in front of a mountain.
“With unimaginable heartache, the families of Matthew Peter Yeomans and Stacey Tourout would like to advise that we both tragically collapse them in an off -road accident on 7 August 2025 in the beautiful mountains of British Columbia that they loved so much,” the statement that was shared via Facebook.
The message continued: “Keep us and them in your thoughts and prayers while we navigate in this devastating end of an amazing love story. They are forever together as we knew they would always be.”
