Welcome to Derry and I Love LA reviews

On Sunday, HBO aired the seventh episode of “It: Welcome to Derry” and the sixth episode of “I Love LA” to great results, with both reaching series highs.
“It: Welcome to Derry” episode 7 drew 5.8 million viewers on HBO and HBO Max in its first three days of availability. This statistic comes from a combination of Nielsen’s measurement of linear viewers on HBO’s cable channel plus Warner Bros. Discovery’s own count of streams on HBO Max. Sunday’s episode not only delivered its best viewership yet, but also pushed the show to an average of 10.7 million viewers per episode to date. Furthermore, the series has reached a total of 18.3 million viewers across its episodes. According to WBD, “It: Welcome to Derry” is among the three biggest series debuts ever on HBO Max, behind the video game adaptation “The Last of Us” and the “Game of Thrones” spinoff series “House of the Dragon.” The company also says that conversation about “It: Welcome to Derry” has grown nearly 60% each week since its premiere, with Episode 7 outperforming the series premiere by 300%.
Episode 6 of “I Love LA” reached 1 million viewers in three days. The series, which debuted on November 2, has averaged 1.8 million viewers per episode to date. WBD reports that “I Love LA” is one of the fastest growing comedy series in HBO Max history.
Muschietti developed “It: Welcome to Derry” for television with his sister Barbara Muschietti and Jason Fuchs. Executive producers include the Muschiettis through their production company Double Dream, Fuchs, Skarsgård, Brad Caleb Kane, David Coatsworth, Shelley Meals, Roy Lee and Dan Lin. Fuchs wrote the first episode and serves as co-showrunner with Kane, while Muschietti directs multiple episodes.
