Weekend Update Slams ‘Woke’ Pope accusations, Trump’s film rates

The world has shown interest in Chicago -born Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost’s American upbringing, and Ankers also on the Ankers Colin Jost and Michael Che during the “Saturday Night” Weekend Update segment on 10 May.
“I also think it’s great that conservatives are already complaining that this pope is too awake. How wake up a 69-year-old man from Chicago? It’s not like he came out and said,” Hey, I am Pope Leo the 14th, he/him, “Jost josted.
After Che had dressed the AI-generated image of President Donald Trump as the leader of the Catholic Church, Che joked: “I just find it hard to believe that someone in the Catholic Church would be something so juvenile”, which brought the crowd to burst. Even Jost was left speechless before he continued.
Che discussed Trump’s plans to place a 100% rate on films made outside the US, which led to a lot of confusion and anger in Hollywood last week. Che then said that the rates “are not a problem for me because all the films I watched were filmed in a flat apartment on a leather couch.”
The quips against Trump certainly did not end there. In the mention of Trump’s plans to reopen Alcatraz “because it represents something terrible and beautiful and strong and miserable and weak,” Che joked that Trump’s were also ‘nicknames for his five children’.
Marcello Hernández then reproduced his role as a filmman to discuss the recent cash register, hits ‘sinners’ and ‘a Minecraft film’. Hernández teased the upcoming “Jurassic World Rebirth” film with Scarlett Johansson and has misunderstood the name of Johansson Koke as “Carley Sohanson”.
After Jost thought that Johansson is his wife, Hernández joked: “And my wife is Rihanna!” While he got the reaction of the crowd, Jost joked that “I don’t like how hard you laugh.”
