Wayne Gretzky Now knows a special place where boys and girls can all be queens every day … because the great has been given a lesson Chappell Roan‘s Hit Song, “Pink Pony Club” on Live TV-Dankzij TNT Co-Host Paul Bissonnette.
The Biz session took place after the overtime of the Edmonton Oilers on the Florida Panthers in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup final … When the former Nhler started talking about how the popular tune has become an unofficial national anthem for the Canadian team.
The big did not want to be omitted – so he started asking questions.
“Pink Pony – Is that a band or is that a song?” he asked.
“It’s a woman. She sings a song ‘Pink Pony Club’. And it’s famous, it’s on the radio,” Biz replied.
The 64-year-old of course asked if Roan was Canadian … and although he seemed a bit irritated when the answer was no, he still said that he would look at it at the most old school way.
“I have to get that on my ringtone,” said Gretzky.
It is unknown how/why the Oilers players have chosen the song … But the fan base has since accepted it as the team to win his sixth Stanley Cup.
Regarding the actual Pink Pony Club … It doesn’t exist, but Roan later confirmed that she was inspired after a visit to the Abbey Gay Bar – a staple West Hollywood.
