Warren Buffett sounds the alarm on Donald Trump’s tariff plan

Buffett warned shareholders in a meeting in Nebraska: “Trade should not be a weapon.”
He stated: “We won the United States. I mean, we have become an incredibly important country, starting from nothing 250 years ago.
While the president has defended rates as a means to force countries to re -negotiate favorable trade agreements – claiming that they will stimulate a production – Renaissance – Buffett warned against the potential fall -out.
He emphasized the dangers of a combative trade attitude, drawn attention to the mutual connection of global prosperity and said: “I think the more, the more prosperous the rest of the world will be, it will not be at our costs, the most prosperous we will be, and then we will feel a safer and the safer we will ever feel and your children will ever feel.”
