Usain Bolt’s father Wellesley dead on 68 after fighting long illness

The father of Usain Bolt Wellesley died at the age of 68.
RadarOnline.com can report that the father of the Olympic Gold 100m medal winner died after a long illness in a medical facility in Kingston, Jamaica, only a few hours after he was transported from his house there.
Leon Jackson, who grew up in the Sherwood content community and Wellesley knew for years, said the publication: “He was sick for a while … He had a stroke (had) not that he was ever restored.
“He used to play Cricket in his younger days, and I believe he was a big track and field fan when Bolt started to make a name for the name.”
Usain still has to comment on the death of his father, but has been open about the impact he has made on his enormous success.

When he was in high school, his incredible talent for sprinting began to show – and he praised his father to help him “lead him” in the “right way”.
Usain explained: “The (sprinting) coach (started to complain) with my father and say:” (Usain is) not (coming) training … because I go to cricket. After a while, my father (comes) and tells me – explains (is what) I have to do because (there is) too much political in Cicket. “
He added: “After class 7 (my father) said:” No, no, no. You have to concentrate, man. ” You are also very good at (sprinting), too.
While Usain shot up to global fame for his incredible talent, his father always stood by his side and saw him violate history.
As fans may remember, Usain is an eight times Olympic gold medal winner and is the world record holder in the 100 meters, 200 meters and 4 x 100 meters of relay.
After the news of the death of the athlete, the tribute began to flow in from all over the world.
The Prime Minister of Jamaica, Andrew Holness, wrote a long tribute on X and wrote: “I agree with every Jamaican in expanding my deepest and most sincere participation in @usainbolt, his beloved mother, Mrs. Jennifer Bolt and the entire Bolt -Familie, after the death of their patrarch, Bolteyt.
“Mr. Bolt was the father of a global icon and a strong, silent power behind one of the greatest sons in Jamaica. His presence, support and guidance helped to shape a legacy that continues to inspire the world.
“Usain, we have all witnessed the deep love and respect that you have always shown for your family. You proudly celebrated them and with that you reminded us of the importance of family in our own lives.
“While you mourn this big loss, the prayers and support of a whole nation are with you. We mourn you, we are with you and we honor the memory of your father next to you.”
