Unifrance unveils Series Mania that then comes from French titles

Unifrance has unveiled its extensive line -up for the 15th edition of Series Mania, planned for 21 to 28 March. This year the festival will show a selection of 48 series from 20 countries, including 22 French shows, who promise a party for the eyes of TV both enthusiasts and professionals from the industry.

The Mania Forum series, the industrial component of the festival, will be performed from 25 to 27 March and welcomes more than 4,200 professionals from more than 70 countries. In this context, Unifrance organizes the tenth that comes from France on 25 March, making five new French series ready to make waves on the international market. Produced by CG Cinema, “Kitchen Hustle”, three women switches on who dine dreams in high-end but an elitist, misogynistic and poisonous environment. The French drama continues to shine on the global theater, with 2023 export of € 74.5 million ($ 77.8 million), a significant increase compared to the average of ten years of € 54.9 million ($ 57.3 million ). Scripted drama remains the leading export for the second consecutive year, accounting for 36.6% of the total turnover.

The presence of Unifrance in Series Mania extends beyond the screen. The organization will collaborate with the Mania Forum Series to organize Welcome Drinks on March 24 and start the professional meetings with an international flair. In addition, Unifrance will offer its members a special space in the business lounge for networks and meetings.

French shows will be prominent in all parts of the festival, from the opening and closing ceremonies to the international competition, panorama and more. Ralized figures from the French TV and cinema, including actress Karin Viard and composer Victor Le Masne, will adorn the juries and add a touch of star power to the event.
