UFC 324 draws 4.96 million views in Paramount+ debut

The UFC kicked off their Paramount+ partnership with a good viewer turnout for Saturday night’s event.

UFC 324 drew a live average minute audience of 4.96 million views during the main card, peaking at 5.93 concurrent streams. That makes it the largest exclusive live event ever on Paramount+ to date, according to Adobe Analytics and Paramount channel partner data. Furthermore, the event was watched by 7.18 million households worldwide. Average audience minutes are calculated based on the total minutes watched by all viewers divided by the total duration of the content in time.

UFC 324 was headlined by Paddy Pimblett taking on Justin Gaethje for the interim UFC Lightweight Championship, with Gaethje emerging victorious with a unanimous decision victory. He is now lined up to fight reigning UFC lightweight champion Ilia Topuria sometime later in 2026.

Elsewhere on the card, “Suga” defeated Sean O’Malley “Kung Fu Kid” Song Yadong by unanimous decision, while Natalia Silva defeated Rose Namajunas by unanimous decision.

The UFC signed an exclusive deal with Paramount last summer worth $7.7 billion. Fans in the US and Latin America can now watch all major UFC events without paying additional pay-per-view fees. Paramount also gets all UFC numbered events under the deal, as well as 30 UFC Fight Nights per year, Dana White’s Contender Series and reality show “The Ultimate Fighter” among other content.

The next event is UFC 325: Volkanovski vs. Lopes II, from Sydney, Australia on January 31.
