Jae Lee is the co-founder and CEO of Twelve laboratoriesA groundbreaking company that builds state-of-the-art multimodal foundation models that enable developers and companies to get deep insights from complex video data. Before founding twelve laboratories, Jae served as a chief scientist at the Ministry of National Defense in Korea, where he applied machine learning on a national scale. He also received industrial experience as a software engineering trainee at both Amazon and Samsung, in which he built a strong base at the intersection of AI, data and scalable infrastructure.

Jae obtained a bachelor’s degree in computer science from UC Berkeley, making this event a meaningful return to the university where his journey in technology and entrepreneurship began.
