It seems to be the biggest breakthrough yet in the US Nancy Guthrie kidnapping … Pima County officers swarm a Tucson-area home and apparently take two people into custody.
The Sheriff’s Department SWAT unit rolled out in the rain Friday night in a huge show of force… first reported by NewsNation’s Brian Entinwhose crew got the video of officers walking out with a man and a woman.
The house is about two miles from Nancy’s home, and the Sheriff’s Dept was prepared for anything – there are reportedly about twenty officers on the scene… including FBI agents.
Entin says it appears the two people taken from the home are a mother and a son.
It’s unclear if the two people are suspects or persons of interest… or if they have been arrested, but police have served a search warrant in connection with the Guthrie case, according to Entin.

A judge apparently issued a search warrant and law enforcement is currently at the home. NewsNation reports that this all started after police stopped a white van.
Entin says there was no confrontation at the house…the doors weren’t broken. He says the two people appeared to surrender voluntarily.
