Trump did not stand out Ukraine not to invite the Russian top

This week, the Ukrainian president has doubled the efforts to prevent a deal between the US and Russia that makes its country vulnerable to a future attack.
In the meantime, Trump might be ready to chat with Putin, but he is already looking forward to a second top – this time with Zensky also at the table.
“I think it will be a good meeting, but the most important meeting will be the second meeting we have,” the president told reporters. “We are going to meet President Putin, President Zensky, and perhaps we bring some European leaders.
“Maybe not. I don’t know. “
A prominent group of Ukraine supporters based in the US wonders: “Why wait?”
Mykola Murskyi, Advocacy Director at Razom for Ukraine, says exclusively Radaronline.com: “No decisions about Ukraine can be made without Ukraine at the table.
“Ukrainians share the goal of President Trump’s peace, but the history shows that Putin will make the opportunity to reassemble and prepare for his next offensive.”
Trump took the daring step to threaten Russia with “very serious consequences” when Putin does not agree to end the war.
However, a top Russian adviser says that foreign efforts are underway to discredit and disturb a planned top. The Russian investment envoy Kirill Dmitriev wrote in a telegramp post: “Undoubtedly, a number of countries interested in continuing the conflict of Titanic efforts will make to disrupt the planned meeting between President Putin and President Trump.”
Various NATO countries in Europe have not been shy to express their skepticism about the possibilities of a peace agreement, but Dmitriev refused to work out or to reveal which nations might make nasty plans.
Last week Trump announced the hastily organized TOP in Post on his Truth Social Platform.
“The long -awaited encounter between myself, as president of the United States of America, and President Vladimir Putin, from Russia, will take place next Friday, August 15, 2025 in the large state of Alaska,” he wrote. “Further details to follow. Thank you for your attention for this issue!”
In the meantime, Putin’s assistants confirmed in a statement that their RSVP for the top, pointing out that the Alaska location is a perfect meeting place.
“Russia and the United States are close neighbors; they share boundaries. So it makes sense whether our delegation simply crosses the Bering Street and takes place in Alaska as such an important and expected meeting between the two leaders,” they said.
The explanation continued: “Incidentally, it is in Alaska and in the Arctic that the economic interests of our countries come together and prospects for the implementation of large -scale mutually affordable projects.”
