Trump calls female reporter ‘such a disgrace’ in heated discussions

Donald Trump hit out at a female reporter during a tense Oval Office news conference, labeling her a “disgrace” after she pressed him about the spiraling war in Iran. RadarOnline.com can reveal.
The commander-in-chief snapped as a series of questions apparently struck a nerve, firing off a heated rebuke as growing frustration over the murky timeline of Iran’s conflict continues to haunt him.
Minutes before she asked the question, Trump explained how quickly the U.S. military has achieved success in Iran, saying America was involved in the conflict in Vietnam for “some 18 years” and in Iraq for “many years” while also taking into account the duration of World War II and the Korean War.
“I have been doing this for six weeks and their army has been completely defeated,” he said of the Islamic regime’s forces.
After giving a lengthy follow-up on the current status of the negotiations, Trump was confronted with a follow-up question.
“What do you say to the American people who are wondering how long this will last? You clearly said they…” the female reporter pressed before the president abruptly broke off mid-question.
You are such a disgrace,” Trump sneered at the woman. “Did you hear what I just said?” “Vietnam – how many years was Vietnam?” he barked, referring to the failed war in which the US was bogged down for eight years before falling to communist forces in 1973.
Sticking to her guns, the reporter fired back, “I understand, but your six-week deadline has passed,” and brought up the high gas costs caused by the conflict.
Trump regained his composure and boasted that he had “militarily eliminated the country” in the first four weeks of Operation Epic Fury.
“All we’re doing now is sitting back and watching what deal is made. And if they don’t want to make a deal, then I will finish it militarily, with the remaining 25% of the goals. We have achieved 78% of the goals we wanted to achieve,” the president noted, adding that US military power has ‘eliminated’ Iranian production, as well as the country’s drone and missile production.
“It’s amazing what we’ve done. So I’ve done that within the time period that I mentioned, but I don’t want to rush myself,” Trump added.
Critics of X pointed out the president’s temper toward the reporter and the comparison to Vietnam.
“It’s always good to remind everyone that you made a mistake going to war with Iran by comparing it to the most deplorable war in American history,” one person said. sneered.
“He looks very weak and is easy to trigger. Keep him away from the codes,” wrote a second.
“Why does he only insult the female reporters like this?” a third user asked.
“When I tuned out the audio I knew from his facial expressions that it was a female reporter. What a bully,” said a fourth sighed.
Trump has a history of sharp comments toward female reporters, especially CNN White House correspondent Kaitlan Collins.
In a December 2025 post on Truth Social, he asked why she was “always stupid and mean” after she questioned him about the price of the new White House State Ballroom.
In February, he also called Collins the “worst reporter.”
“CNN doesn’t have ratings because of people like you,” the president told her during the press conference in the Oval Office. He added, “You know, she’s a young woman. I don’t think I’ve ever seen you smile.’
Trump also taunted a female reporter aboard Air Force One in November with “quiet, hush little pig” when she asked about the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files.
