Trump ‘bragged’ about ‘very difficult’ cognitive exam that he mistook for an IQ test

Trump appeared to be referring to the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, a 10-minute exam designed to identify signs of dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, with simple questions that can usually be answered by many toddlers.

However, the politician continued: “The first few questions are simple: a tiger, an elephant, a giraffe, you know. When you’re about five or six, and then when you’re ten, twenty and twenty-five, they couldn’t come close to answering all those questions.”

Ocasio-Cortez picked up on Trump’s confusion and tweeted a video clip of him speaking to reporters, adding, “Hello, Mr. President! Did those doctors ask you to draw a clock out of curiosity? Was that difficult for you too?’

A well-known part of the exam asks participants to “draw a clock that shows ten past eleven.”

Her tweet continued: “Ask for 340 million people.”
