Travis Kelce’s first comments about Taylor Swift popped up after engagement

Years before Travis Kelce Came on a bent knee and introduced to the biggest pop star in the world, he was just a lonely football player with a dream.
After Kelce, 35, and Taylor Swift announced their engagement on Tuesday 26 August, the first comments of the Kansas City Chiefs about his new fiancé, 35, appeared on social media.
The podcast “New Heights”, Cohost by Travis and his older brother, Jason Kelce” a clip posted again from Travis who attends Swift’s “Eras Tour” in July 2023.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs she sings,” said Travis in the episode. “So I was a bit of butturt that I couldn’t hand her over, one of the bracelets I made for her.”
Jason, 37, replied: “Did you make her a bracelet?”
“Yes,” said Travis. “If you are at Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets and I have received a lot. But I wanted to give Taylor Swift with my number on it. Okay, Nah.”
When Jason asked if Travis Swift wanted to give his sweater number or his phone number, smiled Travis and said, “You know which one.”
“She doesn’t meet anyone, or at least she didn’t want to meet me,” said Travis about his first “era tour” experience. “So I took it personally.”
The official Instagram account “New Heights” placed that video clip in a carousel with photos of Travis and Taylor’s engagement.
“How it started ➡️ How it goes,” the account wrote on Tuesday. “Congratulations on Trav and Taylor ❤️omb.”
The podcast too shared a comment left by Travis on the video in July 2023.
“Dream Big Swifties !! Also,” Travis wrote at the time.
Two months after Travis was now known to shoot his shot through his podcast, Swift made her first performance at a Chiefs competition and the rest is, as they say, history.
ESPN also came up with the pleasure after the engagement news, sharing a throwback video via Instagram van Travis from Chiefs Training Camp in 2023.
During his walk to the field, Travis and his teammates were asked: “Who was your celebrity growing up?”
In the clip, former Chiefs wide recipient Marquez Valdes-Scantling Looked at Travis and asked, “Taylor Swift?”
Travis then laughed nervous, put his finger over his upper lip and said, “Okay, Nah.”
Swift and Travis announced their engagement via Instagram On Tuesday sharing a carousel with photos from the proposal.
“Your English teacher and your sports teacher are getting married”, the couple wrote in a joint post via Instagram.
