Tom Holland led to anger with ‘Spider-Man’ film break

Tom Holland had colleagues messing around after stopping production on the newest Spider-Man Film for two weeks after some insiders described as a relatively small accident on the set, Radaronline.com can reveal.
The 29-year-old British actor recently suffered a suspected concussion when a stunt mechanism did not function during filming in London, so that producers suspended the work until the beginning of next month.
The forced break has frustrated Cast and Crew who had worked on a tight schedule prior to the release date of the Blockbuster.
A source close to production said: “People are furious with Tom. The accident was not serious, but Tom is insisting on the full two weeks. Everyone understands that safety comes first, but he left the crew with their thumbs while the costs are rising. Some feel that he is milking it.”
Another insider echoed the sentiment and added: “A line broke on a tensile ring and he took a bump on the head – nothing more. The studio had wanted him again in a few days, but Tom made it clear that he will not return until he feels one hundred percent. That decision did not go well with the team.”
Holland, who has played the Marvel Superhero since 2016, scenes shot for Spider-Man: brand new day At Pinewood Studios when the incident took place.
The production had spent several weeks in Glasgow, which had been converted into New York City for exterior sequences before moving to the British capital.
Despite the disruption, Sony managers insist that the accident has no influence on the planned release of the film.
“Everything has been great weapons, so this is just a small setback,” said a source close to the studio. “They just want Tom to feel his best, but the reality is that there is a lot of anger about the delay.”
Holland’s father Dominic confirmed the incident during a charity dinner in London. He said, “Yes, there has been an accident and he will be away from filming for a while.”
The actor has nevertheless been publicly seen since the accident and attended the third annual Positive Pubquiz with his fiancé and Co-star Zendaya.
Guests of the Black-Tie Fundraiser shared photos of the pair of smiling with supporters, as a result of which some crew members question the severity of his condition.
A crew member said: “It is difficult to view him at social events when we hold on to wait until he gets back to work. Asking people why he can go to a party but not set. That is what causes anger.”
The tensions are increased by the scale of production, which entails hundreds of staff and complex logistics planning.
Every day of filming costs tens of thousands of dollars, according to insiders, and extensive delays risk creating knock-on effects for other Marvel projects.
Yet those who defended his decision close to Holland defended.
“Crucussion is not something to take light,” a friend said.
“Tom knows that the franchise depends on him, and he does not want to risk any long -term damage by running back. He will return when he is ready, not when the studio wants.”
