Tom Hardy about health struggle, knee operations and sciatica
Tom Hardy is open about his health.
In an interview with Esquire Published on Friday 9 May, Hardy spoke about the Perstour Poison: The Last Dance -In which he played, the executive produced and co-written it was released on Netflix in October last year. After the promotion before The last dance ended in December 2024, he immediately started filming Mobland In London.
“I have dizzy today,” Hardy said Esquire. “I took a saud -off and it starts to work, so I feel better, but in the interviews I sat there, and you know when you don’t feel good, but you can’t tell someone that you don’t feel right? Listen, if I faint …”
The Havoc Star explained that he had “two knee operations now”, as well as a hernia in his back and sciatica. “And I have that … is it plantar fasciitis?” he added. “Where did that come from? And why? Why?
Hardy has played a lot of action-heavy roles during his career, from Mad Max: Fury Road Unpleasant Peaky Blinders And The Dark Knight is rising.
“I have something I had to run to, to understand that it is not going anywhere,” he told the outlet of his acting career.
“There is only more, more,” Hardy continued. “Whose stomach ulcers? Blood pressure? Your knees go, your hair falls out, your teeth are crazy, you are almost 50 … maybe it is self -esteem, maybe it’s not a school, maybe it’s not good enough. But all this shows, I show who?
Hardy also discussed trying out different homeopathic treatments for his physical ailments, including “tinctures” and even a consideration for “stem cells”, and said, “I think when it comes to the thread and it seems to be wise and I take advice.”
The motorcyclists Actor noted that he is “at the bottom of the old man ladder when it comes to characters”, which he has taken into consideration while he is looking for new roles.
‘So I am a newcomer for it [King Lear]. I am the baby, I have to grow in that, but that’s a kind of where we are now, “Hardy said Esquire. “Because you stay with this and it is confectionery, and it will be rewarded as such, and it is beautiful. But it does not mean the part of me that wants to grow.”
