Tom Hanks Says to say goodbye to the late Apollo 13 astronaut James Lovell … that Tom played famous on the big screen.
Tom Lovell plays in the “Apollo 13” of 1995, who died on Thursday at 97.
Tom remembers Lovell in a sincere post on social media and says: “There are people who dare, who dream, and those others lead to the places where we would not go alone. Jim Lovell, who had long gone into space and longer than any other person of our planet, was that kind of man.”
Hanks adds … “His many trips around the earth and further to the moon are not made for wealth or celebrity, but because such challenges are what the course of life feeds and who better than Jim Lovell to make those trips.”
Tom wraps his tribute and says … “On this night of a full moon he passes – in the sky, on the cosmos, to the stars. God accelerates you, on this next trip, Jim Lovell.”
