Tom Cruise requires ‘horrible’ sum for ‘Top Gun 3’

Box Office performance remains a thorny issue in Hollywood, where profit often dictates green lights.

The cinema visit fell by 8.8 percent worldwide in 2024, according to the European Audiovisual Observatory.

While some films – like Barbie – ranked in record -breaking songs, others, including Killers of the Flower Moon And Autumnmanperformed financially under head despite critical appliance.

Directors such as Martin Scorsese and Christopher Nolan have pushed back against Obsession with Kassa.

Scorsese, 82, said: “The costs of a film are one thing. Understand that a film costs a certain amount, they expect to be at least the amount to get back … The emphasis is now on figures, costs, the opening weekend, how much it made in the US, how much it made in Asia, how much it made, how much viewers it was.”

Nolan, 54, repeated sentiment and said: “The life of the film is a much longer proposition … You watch the films of others and indeed your own films in decades, not on the weekend.”

Nevertheless, the Cruise camp has its value.

Our source said: “Just like everyone else, Tom knows that there is not really one Top gun Franchise without him.

“Whether Paramount meets his price is still to be seen – but one thing is certain: Cruise is flying high and it will not come down cheaply.”
