Tom Cruise refuses Ozempic because of drug hate

According to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 17.8 percent of Americans were diagnosed with depression in 2023-a grim rise of only 5.4 percent in 2005. Meanwhile, 11 percent of Americans took antidepressants last year, with use of 35 percent between 2018 and 2023.

He added: “If you start talking about chemical imbalance, you have to evaluate the research documents and read about how they came into the brain with these theories about chemical imbalance. There is no science behind it.”
While the words of Cruise raged then, some mental health care professionals now reflect aspects of his skepticism.
