Timothy Busfield’s role has been removed from the upcoming Amazon MGM Rom-Com

Busfield’s disappearance after the arrest warrant was issued sparked a massive manhunt that extended into upstate New York, where a team of U.S. Marshals and members of the New York Regional Fugitive Task Force broke down the door of the vacation home he shares with his wife, Melissa Gilbert.

At the time of the raid searching for the on-the-lam star, he surrendered in New Mexico.

Busfield’s antics led the judge in his case to rule that he would be held in jail without bail until his next court appearance.

“In light of the defendant’s demonstrated disregard for boundaries, authority, and compliance, no condition or combination of release conditions can reasonably protect the victims or the community,” the prosecutor’s motion said.

They also alleged that Busfield had a “documented pattern of sexual misconduct, abuse of authority and grooming behavior” over two decades as a Hollywood actor and director.

Little house on the prairie alum Gilbert, 61, pleaded with the judge in her husband’s case, writing, “Please take care of my dear husband. Because he is my protector, I am his, but I can’t protect him right now, and I think that, more than anything, is what really breaks my heart.”
