Tim Burton on Lady Gaga in ‘Wednesday’ hopes to work together again

Tim Burton praised Lady Gaga at the premiere of “Wednesday” season 2 in London on Wednesday evening and said that working with the multi-hyfenate on the Netflix series was “inspiring”.
Gaga was not present at the premiere because of her constant Mayhem Ball tour, but will in the series Guest like Rosaline Rotwood, a “Legendary Nevermore Teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday.” She joins a whole series of new faces in the second season, including Steve Buscemi as a new Never More director Barry Dort and Joanna Lumley as Wednesday’s grandmother.
“She is such an artist and so for me working with an artist is inspiring” Variety from Gaga. “But I felt so about Joanna and Steve, with whom I have worked before. These people come on this set, you see the entire crew light up. It is a wonderful thing to see.”
Burton also recently teased that he can work with Gaga again in the future and at the Giffoni Film Festival in Italy says that he ‘did something else with her’. Asked by Variety If he could reveal or confirm more details that they are working together again, Burton replied: “No, I can’t. But I hope so.”
Regarding “Wednesday” season 2 distinguishes compared to the first, Burton said it focuses more on the Dynamics of Addams Family.
“You have Wednesday and her mother and then Morticia and her mother,” he said. “So I feel that it dives a bit deeper into this weird family. Everyone says they have a family strange, but I am of the opinion, call me a normal family. There is not one that I have ever met in my entire life.”

And although “Wednesday” recently received a renewal from the start of season 3, Burton said that his most important focus is still season 2, which comes out in two parts on 6 and 3 September respectively.
“I am waiting a bit to see what is happening,” he said. ‘We are working on [Season 3] And things, but I am still an episode [of Season 2]. Shh. “
Catherine Zeta-Jones also ran the purple carpet and discussed the evolution of Morticia, who, according to her, plays a much greater role in the coming season.
