Naomi JuddThe song “Have Mercy” may have become the national anthem of her widower at least once … because he confirmed that she once shot a bullet on him.
The two -part lifelong docuseries “The Judd Family: Truth are told” Will be rolled out this weekend … and the widower of Naomi – Larry Strickland – Was asked for a story that Judd posted in her memoirs from 1993 “Love Can Build a Bridge”.
In the memoirs, Judd says that she and Strickland – with whom she married in 1989 – “wild, insane, passionately in love” … But Strickland was never there because she claims in the book he is cheating on her.
In the TV film based on the memoirs, Naomi (Kathleen York) Larry shoots (Bruce Greenwood) After discovering his unfaithfulness … A scene that looks at Strickland in the new docuseries.
When asked to respond to the scene, Larry says: “Well, it really happened. That is all I can say. That is all I will say. It happened.”
Naomi and Larry, however, endured that storm together … And they remained married for 33 years – to Judd dead by suicide in 2022.
