‘The Voice’ adds Mega Mentors Sheryl Crow and Leann Rimes in season 27

Sheryl Crow and Leann Rimes will joined “The Voice” as “Mega Mentors”, to prepare for 27 -participants in the Play -Offs, who start on 28 April.

Crow will join Coaches Kelsea Ballerini and Michael Bublé, while Rimes (who is a coach of the British and Australian versions of “The Voice”) works together with John Legend and Adam Levine.

Each coach enters the play-offs with five artists per team, while CROW and Rimes will borrow their expertise as music super stars to help the participants to set up for their most high-stakes performance so far. The coaches will then choose two artists from their team to continue to the live shows.

“The Voice” will be broadcast on NBC on Monday at 8 p.m. and streams on Peacock the next day. The four-fold Emmy-winning Singing Competition series is the most viewed alternative series of the network.

Crow is a nine times Grammy winner and holds a place in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. She has hits ranging from “All I Wanna Do” and “Soak Up the Sun”, and her first nine albums have sold 35 million copies worldwide.

Rimes is a double Grammy winner and has sold more than 48 million units worldwide. She won the best new artist at the age of 14, making her the youngest solo artist to take a Grammy home. Her songs include “Can’t Fight the Moonlight” and “How Do I Live.”

“The Voice” comes from MGM Television and Warner Bros. Uncripted Television in collaboration with Warner Horizon and ITV Studios. The series was made by John de Mol, who, together with Mark Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Amanda Zucker, Kyra Thompson, Adam H. Sher and Barry Poznick serves as an executive producer.
