‘The traitors’ come to NBC with non-celebrity season

A new version of the reality competition series “The Traitors” guided by civilian information by civilian information goes to NBC with Alan Cumming as a host.

The announcement was made by Cumming on the inaugural Televse 2025 conference during “The Traitors: Reality Competition Program Nominated FYC Panel” in the JW Marriott Hotel in the center of Los Angeles. The panel contained “competitors” Bob de Drag Queen, Rob Mariano, Cirie Fields, Kate Chastain and Phaedra Parks.

“The money will mean more to them,” Cumming said during the panel and revealed that this will be shot in the spring. “I am pretty enthusiastic about it. I think it will be a Giller.”

“We are delighted to take the very addictive fan base of the traitors with us, while we discover the next generation of legendary gamers and twilight,” said Sharon Vuong, executive vice -president of Unscripted Programming, NBCuniversal Entertainment. “With our Resident Host and GamePlay -Ceremony Master, Alan Cumming, on board to introduce complete strangers in new epic missions and twisted gameplay, this new version offers a unique opportunity for the cast and the audience to meet for the first time and we know it will be incredible to watch.”

The third season of “The Traitors” launched TV reality stars on January 9 on Peacock, including Bob the Drag Queen of “Rupaul’s Drag Race”; Dorinda Medley, Robyn Dixon, Dolores Catania and Chanel Ayan from the universe “Real Housewives”; Ciara Miller from “Summer House”; Zac Efron’s brother Dylan; Chrishell Stause from “Sown Sunset;” Dancer Sam Asghari; Gabby Windey and Wells Adams from “The Bachelor” franchise; Britney Haynes and Danielle Reyes from “Big Brother”; “Vanderpump -Rules” star Tom Sandoval; And “Survivor” plays Carolyn Wiger, Jeremy Collins, Rob Mariano and Tony Vlachos.

Stephen Lambert, CEO of Studio Lambert, the producers of both the Peacock and NBC versions, described the format of the show as “one of the most moving and spoken reality competition shows in the world.”

He added: “We are very happy to work with NBC to open the experience for a new group of civil players, whose stories and strategies will make the gameplay even more unpredictable – and we hope, even more addictive for viewers.”

The fourth season of “The Traitors” Premières in 2026 on Peacock and will members of former cast members of “Rupaul’s Drag Race”, “The Real Housewives” Franchise, “Big Brother”, “Survivor” and “Dancing with the Stars”, house. Athletes and actors will also participate in the new season, including Ron Funches, Michael Rapaport, Stephen Colletti, Johnny Weir, Tara Lipinski and returning competitor Dorinda Medley. As previously announced, the Emmy-winning reality series from Peacock has been renewed for a fifth season.
