‘The Simpsons’, ‘Family Guy’ and ‘Bob’s Burgers’ have locked up enormous innovations of four seasons with Fox, Variety has learned. Moreover, “American Dad” officially returns to Fox, also with an extension of four seasons.

It was previously reported in March that “American Dad” was approaching a deal to return to Fox, the network that originally launched the show in 2005. It has been broadcast on TBS since 2014. Linear repetitions of “American Dad!” Will continue to be broadcast on TBS and colleague Warner Bros. Discovery Networks Adult Swim and Trutv up to at least 2030.

“This new deal is celebrating the eternal popularity of these iconic comedies, as well as the sustainable, productive relationship that we continue to enjoy with our friends on 20th television animation and the brilliant makers – who this time goes double for Seth – and incredible voices behind these contemporary classics,” said Michael Thorn, president of Fox Telework.

The innovations take “Bob’s Burgers” from seasons 16-19, “Family Guy” to Seasons 24-27, “American Dad” to Seasons 20-23 and the records setting 37th to 40th seasons of “The Simpsons.”

“The lifespan of this agreement confirms our dedication to the successful partnership that we have built with the incredible team of Disney,” said Rob Wade, CEO of Fox Entertainment. “This collaboration has and continues to generate a meaningful long -term value and building strategic public from Fox to Hulu to fans worldwide.”

Although FOX has issued several seasonal obligations in the past, the unprecedented size of the order grants a strong measure of consistency for both FOX, the old leader in temporary transmission and Studio 20th television entertainment. Locking 16 in total television in the current Hollywood market is not a small performance, and the cornerstones of Fox’s “Animation Domination” setup now remain in place during the broadcast season 2028-2029.

Disney+ and Hulu remain the exclusive Global Streaming Home for all four animation series, which together have more than 2000 episodes. In 2024, “Family Guy” and “Bob’s Burgers” were among the two most streamed titles on the Nielsen Top 10 hit lists, in which they were viewed 42.44 billion and 36.79 billion minutes respectively.

“This historical order of four seasons of our old partners at Fox is really monumental for this iconic animation series,” says Marci Proietto, head of the 20th television animation. “We are so proud that these legendary shows will continue hundreds of more episodes, so that new and long -standing fans can watch, can be driven again and experience from ‘The Simpsons’, ‘Family Guy,’ ‘American Dad’ and ‘Bob’s Burgers’ for the coming years.”

Fox’s other animation series includes: “Universal Basic Guys”, which has already been renewed for season 2; ‘Krapopolis’, which has been renewed until season 4; And both “Grimsburg” and “The Great North”, who are waiting for new seasons.

“The Simpsons” is a production of Gracie Films in association with 20th television animation by maker Matt Groening, developed by James L. Brooks, Groening and Sam Simon and Executive produced by Brooks, Groing and Showrunner Matt Selman. Seth Macfarlane is a maker and executive producer of “Family Guy” with rich apple and Alec Sulkin who serves as executive producers and show runners. “Bob’s Burgers” was founded and is produced executive by Loren Bouchard with Nora Smith and Holly Schlesinger who serve as executive producers and show runners.
