‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Star Jessi Draper’s Husband Jordan Ngatikaura Files a Restraining Order Against Her Amid Divorce

Star of ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Jordan Ngatikaura reportedly requested a temporary restraining order against his wife, Jessi Draperhours after it was revealed he had filed for divorce from his husband of six years.
News first emerged on March 19 that Jordan, 32, who married Jessi, 33, in 2020, had begun divorce proceedings, a decision he later said in a statement had “weighed heavily on his heart.”
“This has not been an easy decision, and it comes with a heavy heart,” he said in a statement, before emphasizing that both he and Jessi were committed to ensuring the transition was as amicable as possible for the sake of their children.
“I am grateful for the memories and lessons shared. Although our paths now go in different directions, my priority remains my children and making sure they feel loved, supported and protected during this transition,” he said.
“I am committed to handling this next chapter with kindness and respect.”
However, it seems that things quickly took a bitter turn in the former couple’s relationship The sun report that Jordan filed for a restraining order against his estranged wife just one day after the divorce papers were filed.
According to the documents, Jessi opposed the order in a Utah court on the same day it was filed.
Jessi and Jordan share ason, Jagger5, and a daughter, Jovi3. Jordan is also a father Peytonhis daughter from a previous relationship.
Few details are known about why Jordan filed the injunction. The outlet suggested that he may have done this to prevent Jessi from publicly discussing the details of their breakup — amid rumors that she was hoping to appear on a major podcast, such as Alex Cooper“Call her daddy.”
Although the duo have only now confirmed they are divorcing, they have been dogged by breakup rumors for months, speculation that was only fueled in November 2025, when they exclusively revealed to Realtor.com® that they put their marital home on the market and moved to a new property in an effort for a “fresh start”.
Soon after, Jessi claimed she suffered “emotional abuse” during her marriage, noting that she and her husband had agreed to a 90-day separation.
Her partner acknowledged at the time that he had caused his wife ‘pain’ People in a November statement: “I take full responsibility for the pain I caused Jessi during our marriage.”
That same month, the couple put their marital home in Pleasant Grove, UT, up for sale for $2.5 million. The couple found a buyer for the property less than a month later, according to property records. Because Utah is a secrecy state, the final sales price is unknown.
During most of their time in the 1970s-built home, which they extensively renovated before putting it on the market, the couple experienced major relationship problems, most of which were related to Jessi’s appearance on another reality TV show.
Following her August 2024 visit with Bravo’s ‘Vanderpump Villa’ cast in Italy, the #MomTok influencer and owner of JZ Styles hair salon was accused of cheating on Jordan with another reality TV personality Marciano Brunette. Jessi later admitted to having an “emotional affair” with Marciano.
“Marriage is hard; people make mistakes — that’s how we grow out of them,” she admitted to Realtor.com in November.
However, it appeared that the couple were still hoping to move forward together, revealing that they had found a new home where they believed they could start a new chapter in their marriage.

“We have found our dream home that suits us perfectly and are looking for a fresh start,” said Jessi, with Jordan adding, “We can’t wait.”
To help facilitate the big move, Jessi and Jordan enlisted the help of yet another familiar face from the reality TV universe.
Kenny Sperrywho starred in Bravo’s ‘Sold on SLC’, is the real estate agent. The Presidio real estate agent was also currently coaching “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star. Dakota Mortensen in the real estate industry, in addition to his job at the Salt Lake City real estate agency.
“Kenny is Dakota’s real estate mentor and we are big fans of ‘Sold on SLC,’” Jessi admits. “We reality stars from Utah need to stick together!”
What started as a connection over their shared reality TV experiences in the Mormon mecca quickly grew into a strategic business partnership.
“Utah really is such a small world,” Kenny explained. “Jessi, Jordan and I got into reality TV at the same time. Since we were in a similar situation, we started messaging on Instagram and the relationship grew from there.”
The luxury real estate expert says his time on TV gave him the competitive advantage to land the $2.5 million listing and helped him navigate the transaction with nuance.
“Combined with the depth of knowledge and solid reputation from a real estate perspective, my background in reality TV helps because I understand the potential obstacles that can arise in the production of ‘Secret Lives,'” he said.
“Given the success Jessi and Jordan have had, it makes sense that they would want to bring in the best of the best to handle such a large transaction.”
The sprawling estate, which sits on a parcel of just over half an acre, is located about 35 miles south of Salt Lake City.
“Located at the base of Mount Timpanogos overlooking Utah Lake and some of the fastest growing areas in Utah,” notes Kenny, “minutes away from Sundance Ski Resort.”
