The real reason Diddy is fighting to get Netflix Doc Canned

CCTV footage of Combs punching, kicking and dragging the singer down a hotel corridor became a turning point in 2023.

Ventura sued him for rape and domestic violence and reportedly received a $20 million settlement. The most incendiary material, however, appears to be the footage recorded the week before Combs’ arrest.

He had hired a videographer to document him in an apparent attempt to shape public perception.

The series includes his phone call with a lawyer in which he says he is “losing” his reputation battle on social media and demands that his staff “find someone who will work with us and who has been involved in the dirtiest cases.”

A second source claimed: “The pre-arrest footage terrified his team. It shows him frantically trying to rewrite the story, and that desperation exposes exactly what he never wanted the public to see.”

Combs’ attempts to block the documentary come as investigations into his alleged “freak-off” parties and rumored celebrity attendance grow, though the series largely doesn’t delve into that territory.

Instead, it focuses on a documented pattern of accusations that, as one insider put it, “makes any form of redemption for him almost unthinkable.”
