19:45 pt – There were 60 passengers and 4 crew members on board the aircraft … according to American Airlines. ABC News reports that there were 3 army soldiers on board the Black Hawk helicopter.
A regional jet of the American Airlines that prepared for landing in Washington DC, collided on Wednesday evening with a military Blackhawk -Helikopter near Reagan Washington National Airport … according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
American Airlines said in a statement … “We are aware of reports that American Eagle Flight 5342, managed by PSA, with the service of Wichita, Kansas (ICT) to Washington Reagan National Airport (DCA) was involved in an incident We will provide information when it becomes available.

Reagan Washington National Airport currently allows no planes to land and rise. Images on social media show an enormous emergency aid near the area where the crash took place around 9 p.m.
